In pursuit of the Bachelor of Music Degree from the Conservatory, William will perform his Junior Recital in the Fall of 2022.
This recital will feature works on the 1974 Flentrop Organ and the Greg Harrold Opus 11 Organ.
The works performed will be as follows: Toccata and Ricercar by Froberger from the Libro Quarto; Te Deum Laudamus by Dietrich Buxtehude; Christ Lag in Todesbanden by Franz Tunder; and finally the Prelude and Fugue in A Minor BWV551 by J.S. Bach.
William will present a concert to celebrate the organ at First Congregational Church, Westfield, NJ.
The organ, Austin Opus 2547, was installed in 1974. It was designed by Fred Swann who was Organist and Director of Music at Riverside Church, NYC, at the time, and Nicholas Tino, Director of Music at FCC.
Works by Dietrich Buxtehude, Herbert Howells, Marco Enrico Bossi, and Charles V. Stanford will be performed.
